Job description

Join our ICT development team as a .NET Software Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in developing and supporting business software for central services, construction sites, and vessels. This position involves engaging with both purchased and in-house developed software to meet the company’s needs effectively.

       >       Translate and understand provided specifications.

       >       Offer constructive feedback on specifications to refine and improve development processes.

       >       Write structured and testable code, adhering to established design guidelines and conventions.

       >       Utilise existing class libraries and add meaningful comments to enhance code readability and maintainability.

       >       Interpret analyses using modelling languages such as UML.

       >       Develop knowledge of the business domain and stay updated with new technologies.

       >       Provide technical support for applications, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.

Key requirements

       >       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

       >       Open to recent graduates or individuals with some professional experience.

       >       Proficiency in .NET (Core) C#, and web development using Blazor, Angular.

       >       Experience with RESTful web services (ASP.NET Web API).

       >       Strong understanding of SQL and stored procedures.

       >       Familiarity with offline applications, WinForms, data synchronisation, and scripting languages such as JavaScript and PowerShell.

       >       Knowledge of reporting tools like Crystal Reports and Power BI is advantageous.

       >       Knowledge of architectural principles such as SOA is a plus.

       >       Ability to interpret analyses made with modelling languages like UML.
