Senior Full Stack Engineer

Join one of the largest media companies in Belgium as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. You will be part of a dynamic team working on Editorial Systems, ensuring the seamless publishing of digital articles across major news platforms.

       >       Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices in Python and Java.

       >       Ensure seamless integrations using REST and event-based architecture.

       >       Contribute to cloud infrastructure with AWS Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and more.‍

       >       Work on front-end components with React, Thymeleaf, JavaScript, and SCSS.

       >       Follow DevOps best practices, implementing CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline, Terraform, and Docker.

       >       Embrace an Agile mindset, participating in pair programming and mob programming to foster collaboration.

       >       Maintain high-quality standards, following DDD, SOLID principles, Clean Code, and TDD/BDD methodologies.

       >       4+ years of experience in backend development with Python, Java, and AWS.

       >       Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, etc.).

       >       Experience with React, TypeScript, Webpack, and Jest is a plus.

       >       Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and containerisation (Docker, Terraform, Ansible).

       >       Strong knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture, Clean Code, TDD/BDD methodologies.

       >       Agile mindset, experience with Scrum, pair programming, and team-oriented development.

       >       Passionate, curious, and always looking for ways to improve code quality and development processes.

       >       Work on cutting-edge AWS-based solutions in a fast-paced, digital media environment.
