Job description

Join our IT department as a Java Developer where you will be part of a high-end SCRUM development team. You’ll engage in both new automation projects and the evolutionary and adaptive maintenance of applications and sites, enhancing existing IT tools with the latest technologies.

       >       Design, develop, and implement complex business applications.

       >       Ensure the delivery of high-quality Java code using the latest tools and technologies.

       >       Adhere to development, security, and monitoring standards and principles across all projects.

       >       Create and utilize reusable software components.

       >       Actively support and mentor less experienced members of the Java team.

       >       Identify and propose improvements to enhance the professional level of the development team.

Key requirements

       >       Degree in Computer Science (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

       >       Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) as a Java developer covering the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

       >       Agile mindset with knowledge of Scrum; hands-on experience preferred.

       >       Proficiency in Java (versions 17-21), TypeScript, CSS, SQL, and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.

       >       Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).

       >       Familiarity with relational databases (DB2 / MySQL) and document-oriented databases (MongoDB) is a plus.

       >       Experience developing SOAP or REST-based Web Services.

       >       Proficient with Git and Gradle for configuration management and build automation.

       >       Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, Ansible, and Zipkin is beneficial.

       >       Strong team player with a focus on delivering high-standard, performant developments.

       >       Detail-oriented, structured and results-driven with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.

       >       Social and resilient under stress.

       >       Keeps up-to-date with technological developments in the field.
