Functional Analyst

As a Functional Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in documenting and enhancing an application that holds a central and crucial position within the automotive market.

       >       Gain a deep understanding of the application users and their business processes.

       >       Lead in gathering requirements and translating these into technical specifications.

       >       Maintain proactive communication with customers to gather feedback and suggest innovations to the sales team.

       >       Establish and adhere to solid documentation standards to keep application documentation current.

       >       Explore existing solutions and database models to derive insights and solutions.

       >       Develop creative and straightforward solutions to complex challenges.

       >       Contribute to project estimations and assess impacts on IT architecture.

       >       Collaborate with the development team to guide the development cycle.

       >       Participate in the testing of products, ensuring all user stories have sufficient acceptance criteria for the test team.

       >       Bachelor or Master’s degree (preferably in an IT-related domain) or equivalent experience.

       >       Preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience in a complex IT environment.

       >       Strong understanding of Agile development principles and their application.

       >       Advanced SQL knowledge.

       >       Proficiency in UML and API design.

       >       Basic experience in Java programming is an advantage.

       >       Analytical, assertive, customer- and solution-oriented with a focus on quality.

       >       Attention to detail.

       >       Fluent in English, with native proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
