Business Analyst

Join a forward-thinking IT environment in the public sector as a Business Analyst, where you will bridge the gap between IT and business operations. This role is based in Ghent, with the flexibility to work remotely for 2-3 days per week. You will be instrumental in assessing and implementing state-of-the-art ICT solutions to enhance user experiences.

       >       Collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders to gather and assess business ideas from multiple perspectives.

       >       Analyse the feasibility of proposed projects and challenge the status quo with innovative solutions.

       >       Maintain robust communication channels between IT and business units, acting as a key information source and communicator.

       >       Drive the evolution of business reporting and dashboards, focusing on metrics and workload analysis.

       >       Optimize and grow strategic business operations through enhanced IT products and services.

       >       Implement and manage new business technologies that meet strategic needs.

       >       Minimum of 7 years as a Business Analyst in a senior IT setting, with proven experience in managing business and IT relationships.

       >       Proficient in UML, BPMN, and Domain Driven Design.

       >       Strong background in Scrum/Agile methodologies.

       >       Experience with strategic business planning, IT data analysis for business insights, and technology solution sourcing.

       >       Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

       >       Ability to present complex data in an understandable way.

       >       Passionate about numbers and reporting.
