Job description

Join our Streaming Area as a DevOps Engineer and become part of a dynamic team that is at the forefront of developing backend solutions for our high-traffic streaming platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a vibrant workplace where innovation and creativity are central, and where your contributions make a significant impact.

       >       Spend the majority of your time building and optimising CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructures, primarily on AWS.

       >       Work closely with developers and QA teams across two squads, one with 5 members and another with 10 members.

       >       Take future responsibility and show openness to initiative. Routine tasks are minimal, allowing ample room for personal input.

Key requirements

       >       Experience as a DevOps Engineer in a cloud-based environment (AWS) with knowledge in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and CI/CD pipelines.

       >       Familiarity with Java is desirable, though actual coding is not a requirement.

       >       Proficiency with the Grafana stack for monitoring and system maintenance.

       >       Strong communicative skills and the ability to work effectively with other teams.

       >       A flexible and adaptable approach with a DevOps mindset.

       >       Language proficiency is not a barrier; we are more interested in your technical abilities and communicative skills.

What's in it for you

       >       A dynamic and innovative workplace within the largest media company in Belgium.

       >       Flexible working hours with the opportunity to work remotely (1-2 days per week in the office).

       >       A close-knit team of experienced DevOps engineers who regularly come together to share best practices and innovate.

       >       Opportunities for growth and taking on responsibilities in an organisation that prioritises your development.
